Android frontend for Jim Breen's WWWJDIC
Multilingual Japanese dictionary with kanji lookup. Uses the WWWJDIC online service. (requires Internet connection)
Main features
* stroke order diagrams: optionally animated stroke order diagrams for more than 6600 characters, courtesy of KanjiVG (http://kanjivg.tagaini.net/).
* history/favorites: automatically saves your searches. Mark any dictionary/kanji entry as a favorite to review later.
* handwritten kanji recognition: accurate and fast handwritten recognition using the kanji recognizer at http://kanji.sljfaq.org/kanji16/draw-canvas.html
* OCR: to lookup kanji you don't know the reading of, simply take a picture. Uses WeOCR (http://weocr.ocrgrid.org/).
* kanji search by radical: browse radicals to select, add optional stroke count range
* kanji search by reading, meaning, stroke count and code (Unicode/SJIS/SKIP)
* multiple dictionaries: General/Japanese Names/Computing/Life Sciences and more
* multiple languages: English, French, Russian, Swedish, Hungarian, Spanish, Dutch, Slovenian
* romaji(Latin) input
* small app size: no dictionaries/indexes downloaded to phone
